In this latest art project of ours I have drawn a landscape which has been ravaged by the split between light and dark, a fight for power over all some might say. The viewer should see the art as such. Although This is not my best work it is some thing I am proud of drawing. I had some inspiration from the music I was listening to at he time of this arts creation.

So this blog is dedicated to my self portrait . So on this theme of self portraits I made my "portrait" in my usual style. Although it may not look like much it is done like I said in my style. Now I know its not a true self portrait as in it's not my face, but I did it the way I wanted so there for it is my own self portrait.
So for my Surrealism project I created a picture of a blob of colors. I did this because that is what came to mind to do for my project, which is what surrealism is all about.
The viewer should see my painting as the blob of color it is. The symbolism in the art is that the mind is a mess and will rarely think clearly. I wanted them to view it this way because that's the way my mind wanted it. I think that surrealism if I put my mind to it would be one of my stronger art styles. I also think that using clay instead of paint would have made for a better medium for the project. Next time I will try to use clay or pencil for my project. For my light project I created a small lamp from wire. I wanted to show light in the literal sense because I thought that it fit with what I wanted to do with the box I used. The box was painted blue because it was a cigar box so I had to cover it. I used the blue cause blue is my favorite color and it always brightens my day when I use blues to paint.
I drew on the inside of the box to create a room which I thought looked cool. The viewer should see the box and lamp and think, "Hey, that's cool." While I was making this I wanted to do more with the wire but decided not to because I like the simple more than the complicated. The reason I created the stamp that I did was to show my explosive personality.
I was hoping to do more but I couldn't figure out what. The way I want people to hear in my art is to hear the hissing of the string on fire. The statement I made was that people should be so happy they explode with joy. I think that happiness is one of the best sounds in the world. The viewers should see the happy face on the boom as a symbol of joy. They should also see it as a symbol of hilarity. The artwork was done in my fun way of approaching art. I took the fact that explosives are cool and added the fact that art makes me happy to create the stamp that you see.
